I’m so thrilled that If We Make It Home has been picked up by a wonderful Dutch publisher. The Dutch title is If We Survive. And the cover, wow! It’s so beautiful.
Thank you to everyone at Royal Jongbloed for making this happen!
About a week ago, I had a seriously great day. I signed TWO contracts!
Contract #1 – A New Agent!
My agent recently announced her retirement from the agenting game. The news caught me by surprise, but I quickly got up off the floor and starting evaluating my choices. There are some amazing agents out there, making this a tough decision, but I’m so happy with were I’ve landed.
Cynthia Ruchti is one of my favorite authors. Her stories leave me with so much to consider, and they often hold me accountable in areas I’m not so sure I want to change. A few months back, when Cynthia agreed to endorse my book, I was so thrilled. And now she is my agent. I have the opportunity to work with her as I move forward on this crazy journey.
Contract #2 – A New Book!
I still can’t believe this one!
Kregel Publications will be publishing another of my books some time next year! It’s currently titled, Torn Edges. I’m thrilled to work with the group at Kregel again. They’ve been amazing!
Thank you to all of you who’ve been so supportive. Join me in a little happy dance, and come back soon for another If We Make It Home giveaway.
My new business cards arrived today with my book cover printed on one side. I think that means it’s time to let the world see the cover.
But first…A book blurb.
In college, they were as close as sisters, but in adult life, they’ve drifted so far they’ve become strangers. When the University of Northwest Oregon decides to close the house they called home for four years, Jenna, Ireland, and Vicky travel back and are reunited only to find their other roommate has passed away.
With regrets high, and the weight of their crumbling lives as motivation, the women embark on a survival week. When tragedy strikes, leaving them lost without a guide, they must face the wounds that tore them apart and work together if they have any hope of making it home.
