Let’s Celebrate the New Look with a Giveaway!

Welcome to my newly-designed website!

I’ve been working with a great team for the past weeks. Due to my complete incompetence in the area of technology, I depended on the genius of Mandy Roberson and Carol Poortvliet. Both Mandy and Carol remained patient with my lack of understanding. They took me through the process with simple and clear instructions. I’m pleased to report that not a single tear was shed on my part during this process. That, right there, is a miracle!

A big thank you also goes to Katey Tryon for providing the new headshots. Katey stepped in at the last minute and did a fabulous job.

Something this big deserves a celebration! And what’s a party without a prize? I’ll be giving away a $15 Amazon gift card on July 15. Drawing will take place at 5pm, PST.

Celebrate!

How to enter:

To enter the drawing for the Amazon gift card, you must be a member of my email list and comment on this post. Subscribing to the email list gives me access to your email address, which is how I will be contacting the winner. Joining is easy. The form is located on the top right side of this page. I promise not to inundate your inbox with pointless emails, and I will never share or sell this list.

That’s it. Just subscribe and comment.

Please follow me on Twitter or Facebook! I’ll be announcing future contests there as well as on this blog.

Come back soon to stay up on publishing news, the writing life, and chaos from the Nelson farm.

    1) I looooveeee the new design!!! Gorgeous, girl!
    2) Hmmm. Yes.
    3) So many. Really. so. many. And I finally jumped on the Outlander train. It’s a super intriguing but very weird train.

    Love the design!
Amazon has so many options, it would require some thought…
I read Flight of Dreams a couple weeks ago! It was quite interesting. I’ve also read several others, but none so far that are amazing, sadly.

I have plans for the gift card: Sicarii by Laurence Brow.
I also enjoy the new website. It is easy to navigate and not too busy or flashy.

Oh and this summer I am reading With the Old Breed by E. B. Sledge. It is very good but I have to read it in small sections as it is a true story of some of the fiercest battles during WWII written by Sledge, a Marine infantryman who served in those battles.

I enjoy the website’s clean design. It feels quite clean and effortless. A summer reading book that I truly enjoyed .. “The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher” by Hilary Mantel. She creates such enthralling female characters. Even her short stories are memorable! I would buy her book in a heartbeat.

I so enjoyed your farm blog. The pictures really add to your description.

Just finished Messy Grace and am onto The Circle Maker. Listened to Deep, Dark Down while traveling to Yosemite. Trying to see the movie made from the book called 33 but Xfinity only wants to sell it for $22. No rental option. Let me know if you see it listed at The Dark Side or anywhere.

    Keep up the great blogging.
